De Roman Montessori School (or simply DRMS) is a private school in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines.[2] It was founded in October 1994. The educational institution presently accommodates preschool,[3] elementary[4] and high school students.

The Little People's Montessori School was established in October 1994, having Maribelle Del Rosario Macam for its first teacher. Later, it was renamed De Roman Montessori School. At that time, the school accommodated preschool students only namely in the nursery, kindergarten and preparatory levels.

In the school year 2000–01, the school established its Grade 1 class which is the first step of the foundation of its elementary department. Also, during this school year, the construction of the new elementary building was undergoing.

During the school year 2001–02, the new elementary school building was finished and the Grade 1 class was transferred there. The Grade 2 and Grade 3 classes were started at the same time. Grade levels 4-6 was added one by one during the three next consecutive years.

The first elementary school graduates were officially commenced during the school year 2004-2005.

After two school years, De Roman Montessori School added the first year high school batch. High school year levels 2-4 were added during the three next consecutive school years. The first high school graduates were released during the school year 2009–10.

The school seals[edit]

The old seal[edit]

The school had a previous logo. It presents a golden outline of a girl and a boy in uniforms, with both of their arms extending sidewards on a golden background. It is encircled by a blue ring and the name of the school is written in uppercase letters within it.

The school adopted a new logo during the school year 2001-2010.[clarification needed] It presents a pair of hands holding a boy and a girl, making together a building model. There is a wreath to the left of the hand and three yellow rays of light shining on the boy and the girl.
