DDC Advocacy (formerly Democracy Data & Communications, LLC (DDC)) is an issue advocacy firm. The firm is based in National Harbor, Maryland and Washington DC. DDC Advocacy claims expertise in grassroots, PACs, communications, membership development, fundraising, and GOTV. The company is widely regarded as an astroturfing firm.
In 1996, Democracy Data & Communications, LLC was founded by B.R. McConnon, III. It was designed to develop advocacy campaigns with political technology. McConnon is DDC Advocacy's chairman and CEO.
