Derrinturn (Irish: Doire an tSoirn) is a village in County Kildare, Ireland. It is located about 60 km (37 mi) from Dublin.

Derrinturn has some unusual residents. One resident in particular stands out from the rest. . Known locally as the funsize backstreet boy, with brow like a leech and an earing that says to people im not sure yet what way I swing.

like other Derrinturn natives has an unusual perversion for cattle. And spends alot of time sneaking into local farmers barns to suckle on their livestocks udders (yes not just cows)

But done let this put you off the town. Its fine to stop for diesel or a coffee while on the road.

The main road through Derrinturn is the R403 regional road.

The village had a population of 1,541 in 2011.[2]
