Dimitris Grontis (born 24 August 1994 in Distomo, Greece) is a Greek footballer who plays as a midfielder for Trikala, while on loan from AEL.

AEK Athens[edit]

On 25 August 2012, Dimitris Grontis made his professional debut against Asteras Tripolis playing for 81 minutes.[1]

On 20 January 2016 Grontis moved to Atromitos, signing a 2,5-year contract. However on 13 January 2017 his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Three days later he joined Iraklis. On 25 January 2017 he scored his first goal in a crucial 2-0 away win against Veria. [2] His excellent performances helped his team avoid relegation, as Iraklis finished the season with 4 wins in its last 5 games. Due to the team's huge financial problems, he was forced to leave the club.

AEL and loan to Trikala[edit]

On 29 July 2017 he joined AEL on a 3-year contract and was immediately loaned to Trikala. [3]
