Dingana alaedeus (Wakkerstroom widow) is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is only known from high altitude grassland in the southern part of the Mpumalanga province and from KwaZulu-Natal.

The wingspan is 51–55 mm for males and 50–54 mm for females. Adults are on wing from mid October to December (with a peak in November or December). There is one generation per year[2]

The larvae probably feed on various Poaceae species. Larvae have been reared on Pennisetum clandestinum.
