AmCham France (or The American Chamber of Commerce in France)[1] is a French non-profit association, independent from any government, which gathers more than 300 French, European and American businesses of all sizes and economic sectors. AmCham’s programs and activities are fully funded by its members.

Founded in 1894[2] to promote transatlantic trade[3], AmCham has recently developed a think-tank activity. Thus, it has the ambition to put forward disruptive ideas and policy solutions to contribute to the democratic debate, regarding economic and geopolitical issues in particular. AmCham also seeks to promote measures that strengthen the attractivity of the French economy[4]. To that end, AmCham and its member Bain & Company have been publishing since 1999 an annual barometer that evaluates American investors' morale in France[5][6][7][8][9][10]

Since April 2018, Stephanie Barreau, President of 3M France, has been President of AmCham France, for a non-renewable two-year term.
