B R Rajshekar is a Indian film director, producer and screenwriter, who works primarily in the kannada film industry. He is best known for directing romantic thrillers like Amruthavani (2007) Payroll (2010) and Barfi (2013). His next film Trikona [1], will be released in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. He has both written and produced it. He is the founder of Chathurthi Creations, a production house.
Career[edit]
In 2007, he made his directorial debut with the romantic-thriller Amruthavani starring Ajay Rao, Radhika, and Naveen Krishna in lead roles. He was also the producer of the film. In 2010, he made his second directorial, Payroll. It was based on a real life incident. Actors kishore, B Suresh, Pradeep and Likith were seen in lead roles. This film was produced under his home banner Chathurthi Creations In 2013, he directed a romantic-comedy, Barfi. It starred Diginth and Bhama in the lead roles. Arjun Janya was the music composer. Rajshekar produced this film along with K M Shankar. Trikona[2], his most ambitious project yet, is due for a 2021 release. He has produced and also written the screenplay of this action-thriller starring Juli lakshmi, Achuth Rao, Sadhu kokila and Sudharani in the lead roles. Trikona is an experimental feature film[3]. While the story line remains the same, the narrative technique and ending differ in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada versions. The technical crew is also different.
