Baby John is an upcoming soundtrack album composed by Thaman S for 2024 upcoming Hindi language action thriller film of the same name, written and directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, starring Varun Dhawan. Irshad Kamil penned the lyrics of the songs.
Development and production
[edit]Thaman S was hired to compose the soundtrack and background score.[1] Irshad Kamil was roped in to penned the lyrics of the songs. This is first collaboration between Atlee and Thaman. Thaman will be making solo Hindi debut through this track.[2]
The first single "Nain Matakka" was announced on 21st November 2024.[3] The song features Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh.[4] The release date was set to release on 25th November 2024.[5] Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh[6] and Australian Singer Dheekshitha Venkadeshan (Dhee)[7] were roped in to sing the lead vocals. Dosanjh was confirmed to make a special appearance in the song. This will mark Dhee’s Hindi debut song.[8] The filming started around the end of film’s shooting which wrapped up in April 2024 and the song’s production started in 6 November.[9] "Nain Matakka" promises to be the ultimate dance anthem and a foot tapping, peppy number.[10][11] A glimpse of the song was released on 22 November 2024.[12] The choreography was done by Shobi Paulraj, Lalatha Shobi, Brinda. "Nain Matakka"’s teaser was released on 23 November.[13]
On September 2024 through social media, Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal had come on board for a song.[14] On social media, a photo of Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh was leaked where they were shooting a romantic song.[15]
Marketing and Release
[edit]The film’s audio rights were acquired by Zee Music Company. Baby John's soundtrack featured one song: Nain Matakka.
The first single "Nain Matakka" is scheduled to release on 25 November.[16]

[edit]The additional background music is before film's release. The Baby John Title Track was composed by Thaman. Adviteeya Vojjala was roped in for background music of Babbar Sher Intro. The Taster Cut included Thaman, Vojjala, rapper Raja Kumari, and Ritesh G. Rao who wrote the background music's lyrics.
