The Battle of Wadi Rash is a battle that took place in 1902 between the Ghamid and Zahran tribes against the Ottoman Empire. It was a decisive victory for the Ghamid and Zahran tribes. It was a battle that took place a few days after the Battle of Wadi Alaqah.[1]

The cause of the battle
[edit]The reason for this battle was that the rebels of Ghamid and Zahran fought this battle against the Ottoman Empire, which had defeated the Turks in the previous battle. The commander of the battle was Abu Nab, who had fled from Al-Baha, the homeland of the Ghamid and Zahran tribes. They confronted him in Wadi Rash and fought him again.[2]
Battle details
[edit]When Abu Nab fled from the battle of Wadi Alaqah and went down to Tihama wanting to escape, the tribes of Ghamid and Zahran met him while he was in Wadi Rash in Tihama in Al Baha. The tribes of Ghamid and Zahran met him and fought a great battle in which the revolutionaries of Ghamid and Zahran were victorious and Yusuf Pasha, nicknamed Abu Nab, was killed. It was a battle that made the revolutionaries increase their confidence in the revolution. This battle weakened the Turks in Al Baha, which made them fight a year later in the battle The greatest determinant in the yaers in that battle[3][4]
