question: are there any holy sites in sufi Islam that are not shrine/tombs?

[edit]

If not, and I suspect that is the answer, we should indicate that in the lede. Holiest sites in Sufi Islam are tombs or areas surrounding tombs. --BoogaLouie (talk) 00:19, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In Sufism or Sufi Islam the "holiest" would still be same as any other, i.e. Masjid al-Haram, Masjid an-Nabawi and then Masjid al-Aqsa. Shrines and tombs are also holy to Sufism but they are not the holiest. The leade should have something to say about these three or the title should be changed to reflect this. [edit]

The grave of Shiekh Ahmed Sherhindi is located in Sherhind, Panjab, India. He is the founder of Mojaddedia sufi order. He claimed his order is a six mirror order where others where only two .. His order is very populer & shining in present Bangladesh. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.149.31.186 (talk) 09:58, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
