Dristernan (Irish: Dreastarnán, meaning "Land of the Brambles") is a townland in County Leitrim, Ireland.

Dristernan National school was dated back the 1880 to 1901 until the present school was built in the town land had over forty-five houses in 1895 but its doesn't say when the school was built, the school house was up for closer while 49chrildren where taken to another house belong the town-land.
