Eponym Albrecht Dürer

Dürer is a crater on Mercury. It has a diameter of 180 kilometers.[1] Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1976. Durer is named for the German artist Albrecht Dürer, who lived from 1471 to 1528.[2]
