Eduardo Lourenço

Eduardo Lourenço GCSE, GCIH (born in Almeida, Portugal on 23 May 1923) is a Portuguese essayist, professor, critic, philosopher, and writer. He attended Colégio Militar and studied at the University of Coimbra, where he also was a professor. He won the Camões Prize in 1996[1] and the Prix Européen de l'Essai Charles Veillon in 1988.
