Edward Leeson, 6th Earl of Milltown

Edward Nugent Leeson, 6th Earl of Milltown KP PC (I) (9 October 1835 – 30 May 1890) was an Anglo-Irish peer.
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. In 1871 he became Earl of Milltown on the death of Joseph Leeson, 5th Earl of Milltown, and on 23 August 1881 he was elected as an Irish representative peer, entitling him to a seat in the House of Lords. He was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Wicklow on 14 June 1887.[1] In 1889 he was appointed as an honorary Commissioner in lunacy.[2] He was made a Knight of the Order of St Patrick on 7 February 1890, shortly before his death.
