Essential Media & Entertainment is an Australian production company with its head offices in Sydney. It also maintains offices in Los Angeles (with Essential 11 USA) and in minority partnership with 11 Television Canada in Toronto.

Formed in 2005,[1] the company has produced factual and drama productions for broadcasters around the globe, including Arte France, ABC Australia, BBC, CBC, Discovery Channel, France 5, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, PBS, RTÉ, SBS Australia, Sundance Channel and many others.
