Wayne Gretzky

Wayne Gretzky (January 26, 1961 -- present) was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.

"The Great One" of hockey. Now retired, inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999. He holds or shares 61 NHL records; 40 in the regular season, 15 for play-off games, and six for All-Star games. He played for four different teams in a career spanning 20 seasons.

Someone knowing a bit more about Gretzky should make this into a nice article.

Played for the Edmonton Oilers, the Los Angeles Kings, the Saint-Louis Blues and the New York Rangers.
