FC Ripensia Timișoara Feminin was a Romanian women's football team from Timișoara, named after the homonym male club from the interwar period that played in the First League from 2007 to 2009. In its last season it was the championship's runner-up and it won the national cup, beating CSS Târgoviște 4-0 in the final,[1] However, two months later it was disbanded due to a lack of sponsors.[2] In 2011 several former players from the team joined newly created CFR Timișoara.[3]
