Description
English: A U.S. Navy Grumman A-6B Intruder (BuNo 155628) of attack squadron VA-52 Knightriders on a bombing mission over North Vietnam in 1970. VA-52 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) for a deployment to Vietnam from 6 November 1970 to 17 July 1971. In the background flies a Ling-Temco-Vought A-7E Corsair II (BuNo 157535) of attack squadron VA-195 Dambusters.
