Description
English: Drawing of Azolla filiculoides, Order Salviniales, seen from above, about 5 mm as drawn. The upper layer of leaves perform photo synthesis and are green, the lower layer lacks chlorophyll. In the left undercorner a single root is depicted, the top of the sprout is on the right.
