中文(简体)‎: 摄于北京牛街清真寺对面。一个占据整个街区的建筑工地被一堵张贴有56个民族形成“民族团结大家庭”的宣传画的围墙遮挡。画中的民族从右到左分别为独龙族、俄罗斯族、鄂伦春族、鄂温克族、高山族、哈尼族、汉族、赫哲族、回族、基诺族、京族、景颇族。
English: In Beijing Niu Jie (Cow Street), across the street from the Niujie Mosque. An entire block - probably, a construction site - is fenced with a capital wall, decorated with a block-long poster depicting all 56 "recognized" ethnic groups of China (including Han) forming "The great united family of peoples" (民族团结大家庭). The figures are arranged mostly in Pinyin alphabetic order from right to left; the section is in the photo shows the following ethnic groups (right to left): Derong (独龙族), Russian (俄罗斯族), Oroqen (鄂伦春族), Ewenki (鄂温克族), Taiwanese aborigines (Gaoshan, 高山族), Hani (哈尼族), Han Chinese (汉族), Nanai (Hezhe, 赫哲族), Hui (回族), Jino (基诺族), Gin (Vietnamese origin) (京族), and maybe Jingpo (景颇族).
Русский: Каптальный забор,окружающий (видимо) стройплощадку напротив мечети на улице Коров (Ню Цзе) в Пекине, и украшенный плакатом, изображающим "Великую сплоченную семью народов" (民族团结大家庭). Представители всех 56 "официальных" национальностей Китая размещены справа налево в порядке алфавита пиньинь.
