Summary

Description
English: An envelope rear (from Editions Langue Bleue, Paris, 1902) explaining the artificial language Bolak, by Leon Bollack

Translation:

The Blue Language -- Bolak -- Practical international language

3 minutes to learn how to read it. The alphabet has only 19 letters; 14 of them are pronounced like in French.

3 minutes to learn how to translate it. With the dictionary at hand, it is enough to know only one rule to translate, without mistakes, an entire volume written in the The Blue Language.

3 hours of studying the grammar are enough to translate all French texts correctly. The grammar is logical; its rules are very simple. There are no exceptions.

3 weeks of practice are enough to be able to speak and write the Blue Language. It is unnecessary to know any verbs, qualifiers, or adverbs of quality. Only a few grammatical rules to know.
