Summary[edit]

Title Boulevard du Temple
Description
Deutsch: Boulevard du Temple, Paris, 3. Arrondissement, Daguerrotypie.
English: Boulevard du Temple, Paris, 3rd arrondissement, Daguerreotype. Believed to be the earliest photograph showing a living person. It is a view of a busy street, but because the exposure time was at least ten minutes the moving traffic left no trace. Only the two men near the bottom left corner, one apparently having his boots polished by the other, stayed in one place long enough to be visible. Note that, as with most daguerreotypes, the image is a mirror image.
Magyar: A Boulevard du Temple dagerrotípia az első embert ábrázoló fénykép, melyet Louis Daguerre készített 1838-ban, feltehetően párizsi lakásának ablakából. A kép egy forgalmas utat ábrázol, de a hosszú – több mint 10 perces – expozíciós idő miatt csak a kép bal oldalán, a cipőjét tisztíttató mozdulatlan emberalak maradt felismerhető.
Română: Boulevard du Temple, Paris, IIIe arrondissement, Daghereotip.
Polski: Boulevard du Temple, Paryż, III dzielnica, Dagerotyp.
