Summary

Description

The cement factory in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia – backed by British investment – is a 24 hour operation, producing 3,000 tons of cement a day to help meet the demand of the country's building boom.

But this is just beginning. The company behind the factory has plans for the future - hoping to export beyond its borders to become an international enterprise.
