Notes
  • Significance: Built in 1876 for the Centennial National Bank, the financial institution of the Centennial Exposition, this building was designed by the noted Philadelphia architect Frank Furness and is a good example of his developing style. The bank has been extensively altered on the inside but the exterior retains its original character, although the doorway had been remodeled and the rear bay is an early addition, this building is not the Centennial Branch of the First Pennsylvania Banking and Trust Company.
  • Unprocessed Field note material exists for this structure: FN-237
