The High Street in Christchurch, Dorset, England. Christchurch Library - 29 High Street - Grade II listed building. <a href="http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-101512-29-high-street-dorset" rel="noreferrer nofollow">29, High Street, Christchurch</a> HIGH STREET 1. (South West Side) 5187 No 29 SZ 1592 1A/1 II GV 2. Early C19. Red brick with eaves bracket cornice, stuccoed string course above ground floor. Hipped slate roof. L shaped facade with recessed north-west wing. 3 storeys. 7 windows in all. Sashes with glazing bars. Round arched doorway with semi-circular fanlight. Nos 25 to 29 (odd), No 31 and Nos 43 and 45 with the walls at the rear of No 29 and those in the Druitt Gardens form a group with the Town Hall and Nos 38, 38A, 42 to 46 (even) and the Ship Hotel opposite. No 25, No 31, No 45, Nos 38, 38A, and No 46 are buildings of local interest.
