Countries are color-coded based on their respective governments' claims with regard to democracy. I guess South Sudan is not a country.


Summary[edit]

I, Bruce Hallman, created this image myself on December 19, 2006 and release it per GFDL. I used existing GFDL information and material found on Wikipedia here Image:Claims of democracy.png.

Color-coded map of the world showing which governments claim to be democratic. It is meant to express the de jure situation. Blue represents governments that claim to be democratic, and red governments that do not claim to be democratic.
