English: Demolition of houses for the Place du Carrousel in Paris in 1852. In the center, the former Écuries du Roi. In the background, the east facade of the northern section of the Tuileries Palace the Pavilon de Marsan, and the Galerie Napoléon (also known as the Galerie Nord), which would soon be joined to the Louvre.
