English: Milton Edward "Ed" Dankworth (1928-2008) was an American law enforcement officer, lobbyist and politician. Dankworth retired from the Alaska State Troopers in 1975 as the agency's director after a twenty-year-plus career. He served one term apiece as a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives and Alaska Senate. After elected office, he spent many years as a legislative lobbyist in Alaska, primarily for VECO Corporation.
