Summary[edit]

Description
English: A U.S. Navy Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 23 (VX-23), piloted by Cmdr. Christian Sewell, launches for the first time from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) in the Pacific Ocean. The F-35C was conducting initial at-sea developmental testing expected to last two weeks.
