Summary

Description
English: Fachongle Isaf Part of the farmstead where the self-sufficiency pioneer and guru John Seymour (1914 to 2004) lived, died and is buried. He farmed here in the 1970s using ideas and techniques he had learnt in many parts of the world, writing and teaching about sustainability and attracting many followers. Some of them, along with members of his extended family, still pursue a 'green' lifestyle here and work towards putting his philosophy into practice in a variety of different ways for the benefit of all.
