Obverse: A classical female draped victory figure in front of a tennis net holding a victory on globe in her left hand and supporting a segmented globe with an equatorial laureate band between her right hand and right knee. Sunburst behind, scrolling foliate decoration below.

Reverse: THE LAWN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS / MEN'S DOUBLES / RUNNERS-UP / P. FLEMING / J. P. McENROE / 1978. Hallmarks: F & S for Fattorini & Sons, Birmingham assay office anchor, lion passant and date letter D (1978).
