June 28th, 2011

An Air Force ceremony took place today at the Hatzerim base in which Flight School graduates, soon to be official pilots and flight navigators, were given their officer ranks.

This follows three years of officer's training, pilot's training and an academic Bachlor's degree from Ben Gurion University. The ceremony was attended by the commander of the Hatzerim base, the commander of the Israeli Air Force Flight School, the friends and families of the graduates, and other Air Force personnel.

היום התקיים טקס הענקת דרגות קצונה לבוגרי קורס טיס, בבסיס חיל האוויר בחצרים. לבוגרים הטריים הוענקו דרגות סגן, סרן ורב-סרן. זאת, בסופן של שלוש שנות הכשרה לתפקיד הקצין, הכשרת טייס ותואר אקדמאי מאוניברסיטת "בן-גוריון". הטקס נערך במעמד מפקד בסיס חצרים, תת-אלוף זיו ומפקד בית הספר לטיסה אלוף-משנה תומר, ובנוכחות משפחות, חברים ואנשי חיל האוויר
