Notes
English: A very rare view of the future president in uniform. Harrison is shown as a brigadier general, and wears a black cloth tied around his left elbow, in mourning of President Lincoln, who had been assassinated not long before this photograph. Harrison used a cropped version of this photograph for his 1888 campaign.
