Summary

Description Postcard photo of the Great Northern Railway's "Oriental Limited" in the Cascade Mountains of Washington state.
Date circa 1907
date QS:P,+1907-00-00T00:00:00Z/9,P1480,Q5727902
(divided back postcards permitted in the US) and 1929 ("Empire Builder" replaced the Limited as the premiere train on this route for the railroad). Have chosen to license this as pre 1978 because of the uncertainty in when this postcard was actually produced. It may indeed be pre 1923, but I can't be sure of it.
