English: I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Leonard Cohen's passing.

I uploaded this piece in memoriam of Leonard Cohen.

When Leonard Cohen was on a tour through Europe in early 1988 promoting his latest LP „I’m Your Man“ - with the hit single „First We Take Manhattan“ - I got the chance to talk to him in Munich.

He had just released a third (!) video for this song, recorded in Normandie/France by Dominique Issermann.

When I asked him, if he knew a joke, he first said no, he wouldn’t like jokes, but then… See for yourself.

And yes, I do find it strange that he died one day after somebody with an orange face and yellow hair trumped up, splitting a nation and he really did take not only Manhattan.
