Calgary-based Lauren Bagliore is no stranger to design. A graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Lauren has cut her teeth at some of the world’s most renowned fashion houses, including that of Vivienne Westwood. The legendary designer chose Lauren to come to London and work at her fashion house after she sent examples of her work to Westwood for consideration. After proving herself through her design, talent and wholehearted work ambition, Lauren presented to the CEO of Westwood Studios in Milan and was offered a full-time position working with the avant-garde designer at the time.

After working at various New York design houses, Lauren is now starting her own fashion revolution with the launch of her new collection, Un Bagliore di Speranza, which consists of statement pieces designed for self-assured, modern, and fashion-forward women.

For Lauren, fashion is not simply a vehicle for style; it’s also a means of giving to those in need. Currently she is working with an organization that is fighting to help end human trafficking globally. A percentage of each piece sold goes toward ending the child sex trade in Cambodia and Asia.
