Knowledge Integration Maps (KIM) are a discipline-specific form of concept map. KIM drawing areas are divided into areas to facilitate clustering of related concepts. The example KIM divides biological concepts into the areas "genotype" and "phenotype".
This KIM has been created using the concept mapping tool Cmap.
