Deutsch: Unteroffiziere trugen ihre Abzeichen am oberen linken Ärmel als je nach Laufbahn leicht unterschiedlich ausgeführte gekreuzte Anker. Außerdem trugen sie kornblumenblaue Kragenspiegel.
  • Rang:Obermaat / Rangbezeichnung: Oberbootsmannsmaat
    • Dienstgrad: Auf dem Kragenspiegel zwei goldene Querstreifen
    • Laufbahnabzeichen: Oberbootsmannsmaat (goldener Anker, unter diesem ein goldener Winkel).
English: Military rank insignia, here shoulder strap of the Oberbootsmannsmaat (Petty officer 2nd class — (R-5) of the German Kriegsmarine in WW II.
