Čeština: Kurt von Briesen (3. května 1886 v Métách v Anklamu - 20. listopadu 1941 na Ukrajině). Vyznamenal se jako velící generál 30. pěší divize během západního tažení ve Francii v roce 1940 a obdržel rytířský kříž železného kříže. Následně velel LII. armádnímu sboru na východní frontě a padl v boji během leteckého útoku na Ukrajině v listopadu 1941. Nejedná se o generalmajora Arthura von Briesena, který byl původně uveden v popisku. Ten nikdy neobdržel rytířský kříž jako má muž na fotce.
