Description
English: The Louvre (Paris, France) in 1622 at the time of king Louis XIII. The walls of Philippe-Auguste and of Charles V were destroyed and replaced by buildings of the palais du Louvre. The castle of Louvre is now hybrid, with a half medieval and preserved. And another half rebuilt in Renaissance style. The bottom part of the tour du Coion has been preserved.
Français : Le Louvre sous Louis XIII en 1622. Les enceintes de Philippe-Auguste et Charles V ont été détruites et remplacées par des batiments du palais du Louvre. Le chateau est hybride avec une moitié médiévale conservée. Et une autre moitié reconstruite de style Renaissance. La base de la tour du Coin a été conservée.
