Description
English: Commonwealth War Graves section in the municipal Locksbrook Cemetery, Upper Bristol Road, Bath, Somerset. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission records that there are 44 First World War graves in this section:
Bath (Locksbrook) Cemetery contains 90 First World War graves, 44 of which (mainly from the war hospital) form a plot. The 32 Second World War graves are scattered throughout the cemetery.[1]
The large First World War Bath War Hospital (1916–22) was nearby, where the Royal United Hospital is now. The Cross of Sacrifice in the section is Grade II listed.
