Description
English: The palaver between Bredewa, the King of Fetu, and the Swedish commissioner Neumann in or near Degou (the contemporary Cape Coast in Ghana) in 1648. The Swedish are invited by the king to erect a "stony house" for the purpose of trade. A suitable contract was closed following that on whose basis one year later with the construction of the Fort Carolusburg (Karlsborg, the later Cape Coast Castle) was begun.

Deutsch: Die Unterredung zwischen Bredewa, dem König von Fetu, und dem schwedischen Kommissar Neumann in oder nahe Degou (das heutige Cape Coast in Ghana) im Jahre 1648. Die Schweden werden dabei vom König eingeladen, ein "steinernes Haus" zum Zwecke des Handels zu errichten. Ein entsprechender Vertrag wurde im Anschluss daran geschlossen, auf dessen Grundlage ein Jahr später mit der Errichtung des Fortes Carolusburg (Karlsborg, das spätere Cape Coast Castle) begonnen wurde.
