English: Medal representing Marie of Romania (née Marie of Edinburgh). Inscription, in Romanian, reads "MARIA REGINA ROMÂNIEI". Date unknown (to us, at least), but from her age it should be early 20th century. Wearing a medical nurse attire, which points to her activity during Romania's involvement in WWI (1916-18). |
