Description
English: Dr. Theodore Koester Home. Constructed 1859 of cedar, oak, and limestone, a dumb waiter, and speaking tubes on each floor. The versatile Koester (1817-1877) was physician to German Immigration Co. In this house he ran doctor's offices, pharamacy, and bakery. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark --1970 #1280
