Summary

Description
English: No Fovant Badge According to the map, there should be a badge here. This is a few miles east of the main Fovant Badges site.

The missing badge was an outline of Australia and Tasmania carved into the chalk with the word Australia carved across the centre. The outline can still be discerned when walking the site.

On this photograph, the badge lay to the left of the 'horizon tree', on the rough area of grassland between the fence and the wood below. See: http://www.hows.org.uk/personal/hillfigs/comptcha/compton.htm

With respect, from someone who has passed the badge on the A30 road thousands of times and visited the site of the badge several dozen times. The Australia badge is almost exactly in the centre of the picture, around the slighly shaded area in the grass and invisible from this angle. It is clearly visible on Google Maps, satellite view of this area. Richard Avery (talk) 11:34, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
