Summary

Description
English: Gate posts on Roylencroft Road in Rose Valley, Pennsylvania.

Most of the Town, including these, are in the Rose Valley Historic District, because of architect Will Price, who brought a Georgist/arts-and-crafts experiment to the village about 1900.

Gates posts, which occur with a minor variety multiple times in the district, are a "trademark" of the HD and Will Price.
