Deutsch: "Obwohl eine gewisse physiognomische Ähnlichkeit mit Tizians gesicherten Porträts seiner Tochter Lavinia besteht, wurden sowohl die Identität der Dargestellten als auch die Zuschreibung des Bildes in Frage gestellt. Auch wenn es im Bereich des Mieders an der Brillanz seiner eigenständigen Werke mangelt, verweisen der locker differenziert wiedergegebene Goldbesatz sowie der Fächer der Edeldame, dessen Federn mit wenigen Pinselstrichen evoziert werden, auf den Meister."
