Víztorony - Gyöngyös - Hungary - Europe

Magyar: "Az 1927-es esztendő új korszakot nyitott meg Gyöngyös város; mind pedig a tűzoltó testület történetében. Dr. Puky Árpád polgármesternek hosszú fáradozás után, ebben az évben sikerült tető alá hoznia Gyöngyös régóta vajúdó sorskérdések megoldását, a vízvezetéket. Ez az alkotás 550 köbméteres víztartályú víztornyával, 25 kilométer hosszú vezetékével és 3 artézi kútjával tilalomfát állított Gyöngyös ősi ellenségének, a tűznek, a polgármesternek pedig örök emléket. A vízművek és a víztorony felszentelési ünnepére november 13-án a testület zászló alatt vonult ki."
