Synchronizing with other LGBT maps

I feel this map needs its legend and color scheme updated so that it is more in line with the other LGBT maps. Namely Europe and the World Map. I think that, like the European map, the 'under political consideration' yellow should be done away with. The purpose is to look at the current reality in the countries. Secondly, I think that constitutional bans, namely in Bolivia and Paraguay, should be the same color red as their European counterparts. Lastly, the Foreign recognition is applicable due to the judges ruling in Uruguay, and this blue as well should be updated. The objective here is less confusion for readers. If we have six or seven maps with different colors for everything it can be a pain to relearn every key.

Colombia

No, it doesn't but certain stubborn users are insisting that because the Colombian high court ruled that same-sex couples should have "all the rights of marriage," that obviously includes the right to be married. It's not an interpretation that is supported by the sources, nor by the Colombian lawmakers who took it as requiring them to implement marriage equality or civil unions and implemented the latter. They've been playing the moles in a game of whack-a-mole, and whenever it becomes clear that they're beating a dead horse in one venue they promptly pop up in another. —Quintucket (talk) 02:50, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Calling us "stubborn" because we choose to interpret the text of the ruling literally (in the face of no actual proof to the contrary) is absolutely uncalled for. Guyana's color

I know that we changed the color of Guyana to green because the previous black was to close to the dark blue we use for full marriage rights. However, I thought we had a general consesus to not use green because it is hard to interpret for colorblind users. I would like some feedback namely from Fry1989, Ron 1987 , KenWC (and anyone else of course). Also, I understand why the previous color was disliked; but I am an ordinary mortal too, no need for insults. I merely used that color because there are no countries in Europe (My map of reference) that have homosexuality illegal outright and it was the color chosen in the Gay adoption map. I did the best I could instead of changing the colors for the countries with constitutional bans. Anyways, I think a new color should be chosen and would like to see some kind of proposal made. Since it has been over a month now and no one else has decided to make a suggestion, I am going to update the map with the color Fry1989 has suggested. Please do not change it back to green, we are saving colorblind users a great deal of trouble. Chase1493 (talk) 22:21, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
