Just wondering, as a screenshot of GPL'd software, doesn't the GFDL apply? According to the guidelines, it shouldn't be submitted under the GPL itself; and the standard copyright notice seems to be too restrictive here. 82.39.138.137 13:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should apply here on Wikipedia, but a screenshot of GPL'd software doen't have to be released under the GPL. In fact in this case I would guess that only the window buttons would meet the requirement for a creative work.
